Challenge #2 is over

The second challenge in the game is now over. Congrats to Team Lava for winning with the answer "Aqua Ice Cream Cake".

Team Notebook, this leaves you with a predicament. You have to send someone home. But, as a twist, there is no quiz this round.

As you may have noticed, I have split the points up for each player. This is because of this round's elimination.

We are doing a vote. Each point you submit will give you 2 votes, up to 6 votes. You then give me the way you want to spread those votes out. You want these votes, because the player with the lowest total of points is eliminated. The highest number of votes gets an advantage. If the mole is last, the second to last player will be eliminated.

Remember, this vote is 100% optional. Submit by Wednesday, 9 March by 12:01 AM.

I noticed by your (quite humorous) comments that there was some confusion on one of my puzzles involving verbs and vowels. I could choose to be kind and flat out tell you. But I won't. Instead, here's a cryptic riddle to help you out. Aren't I evil? >:D Remember: The end justifies the means.

The Next JN Reality Game: Discussion

The mole only has a few more rounds left, so I want to go ahead and begin planning a new game. Here is my basic idea for the second game.



JN Reality: The Trials
This is a different type of game than The Mole. Every round, there are cumulative challenges known as Trials. Each Trial is composed of many different sub-trials. Players will have to complete one of the sub-trials and will be scored out of 20 points.
      10 points are for speed, meaning that if you get it in by the deadline, you get all 5 points. If not, every 6 hours after the deadline will knock off two points. There is a 48 hour grace period after the deadline (the first half you still get points), and if you do not submit by then, you are eliminated, no questions asked. The other 10 are for accuracy. If you do it right, you get all of the points. If not, you don't. Scores will impact the future Trials, and I'll keep a scoreboard running at the top of the screen.
      In addition, at least one player will make a decision, impacting the Trial or future Trials.
      Eliminations are done in a variety of different ways, which aren't going to be revealed at this time.

Of course, this is only a rough idea. I might do another season of The Mole or a different game. If anyone has some ideas for The Trials (not Trials themselves, of course) or a suggestion for a different game, post them here.

Challenge #2: The Hacker

This is a special type of challenge. You will need to know keys in order to get through to the next rounds of the challenge. To get a key, you might have to do a math problem, answer a riddle, play a game, watch a video, etc.

I start out by giving you 2 keys. You will use these keys to unlock my doors. Behind each door is a way to get a/some key(s) or a word in my puzzle. To finish the challenge, you need to submit the finished puzzle.

Now, this challenge can be done a bunch of ways. You can do it individually, or you can split the work up with your team. Either way will work.

To Earn Points- For every 4 hours in between the two team's submissions, the winning team will get a point. So you have to be quick! Up to 15 points can be earned.

To Be Exempt: The winning team will compete in a second (mini) round of this game. The winner will win an exemption. ALL TEAMS ARE TAKING THE QUIZ THIS ROUND!!!

The challenge is going to end 60 hours after the first submission. Once that first answer is posted, the challenge is now to keep points out of their score total. (The team with the most points next round will get a bonus in the challenge.)

Not good. Most of the scores were bad. But the worst score went to Banjo, so he has been executed.

THE MOLE: CHALLENGE 1 RESULTS

Alright, I am ready to announce the winner. But first...

EVERYONE has something about their performance that is dropping a clue.
-Cyberdalek gained his team zero points for his answers.
-Banjo999 submitted two lists, and the one he told me to count did worse than the other one. (The other one was his prediction of my list.)
-Uncanny and r2d2y both matched the exact same things.
-Uncanny had only one answer that matched my list, even squirming past a few of the tougher ones.
-Kalynn submitted first and got the most points for their team, setting her up as an obvious leader for the team.
-Ramen didn't even submit...

15 points were scored total for the game, bringing the pot up to a grand total of 15.
Team Challenge
Team Notebook beat Team Lava 10-5. As a result, they do not have to take the quiz.
Individual Challenge
Uncanny scored 5 points, giving him a sabotage point. He can use this by commenting on the quiz post coming soon. Start the post with "SABOTAGE POINT" and list a player taking the quiz. This will impact their overall score and could lead to their elimination. He may use this at any point he is in the game. It can also be transferred to a different player.

Team Lava, you will be taking the quiz. If you do not submit it, you will be eliminated automatically.

The quiz will be posted tomorrow, 12:01 am. It will be 10 questions long.
